the Club Championship!
PACE OF PLAY-
1. Once on the green, limit the times you mark your ball. After your first putt, if you are inside 5 feet- putt out.
2. If the next tee and fairway is open (which if everyone is moving right along, it should be), the first one to putt out heads to the next tee box - and should have already hit by the time the next player makes it over. (The only down side for this is that you don't have as many 'eyes' watching the tee shots).
3. I'm still surprised by how many people don't walk directly to their ball in the fairway after a tee shot. Even if you are slightly in front of the other players, assuming you aren't in their direct line of sight/flight, you should be able to get to your ball, get ready and hit. Standing next to someone and waiting for them to hit before you move along takes more time than they realize.
Getting the marshals out of the carts and in a nice way pointing these things out will help as well.

Ask Richard Major & Phil Gelwick if kickin' a buck into the old hole in one club is worth it or not. In back-to-back groups on hole number 11, both Richard and Dr.Phil holed out!! In fairness they split the accumulated $$$ and each walked away with a cool $592.00 gift certificate!
